This time I'm showing you how to connect the GW-B-5600CD-9 G-Shock Square watch to the Casio Watches App on an iOS device. Before I recorded this video I had this watch for around 7 months and I never bothered to connect this one to the app until now. Why? Because it will do more than 90% of what I want it to do without any assistance from the app.

This watch, along with my other Bluetooth-enabled G-Shock Squares, has Multiband 6 radio reception to keep the watch synchronized to "atomic time". It also has "Tough Solar", which means there's a solar cell built into the face of the watch, keeping the watch's battery charged indefinitely. In the past several years Casio has released several iterations of the G-Shock Square with these functions and with Bluetooth to allow for quick and simple time updates and control of the watch's settings.

The watch in this video uses Module 3540, but other Bluetooth Squares which will behave the same way include the ones with modules 3459, 3461, 3501, 3539 and 3543. Some are super expensive, some are made from premium materials and some have other, subtle differences but they will behave the same way when connecting to the Casio Watches App. So, no matter which of these Solar/Multiband/Bluetooth watches you buy, you can follow my guide in order to use your watch.
