KEp 20: The Edge of Hurricane Hone on a Hawaiian Surf Kayak

Описание к видео KEp 20: The Edge of Hurricane Hone on a Hawaiian Surf Kayak

Hurricane Hone is South West of the Hawaiian Islands. A tropical storm get’s closer and the Ocean is Mean and Angry. But, there are blues skies so I’m going out kayak surfing. I just want to catch three decent waves. I did, but I also got wiped out 3 times as well. Yikes.

Mahalo nui loa for riding along with us as we kayak surf in the Pacific Ocean.

PS: my channel features original music, video and photos. Here's this week’s music:

Just the Facts: I ride a 12ft, carbon fiber Wave Witch Surf Kayak which has a foot controlled rudder and knee straps. The paddle has a leash attached to the kayak. I maintain a simple camera footprint. I use a GoPro 360 Max on the nose of the kayak and often wear a GoPRo 11 on a chest mount. Audio is captured on my phone and then married to the video footage in iMovie where I do all my own editing.
