It just took one night at Makena Beach Maui to pen this. I was living at my uncles ranch across 2nd entrance Makena beach. One night I took a horse, no saddle and rode to the beach about 2am. took the dog also (Puʻuwai). A full moon night and no one on the beach. Flat water. Ran the horse into the ocean stood up on her back and dove off all three swam in and out of the water several times. Puʻuwai and I played on the shoreline as the horse scratched itʻs back on the sand. We finally made it back to the ranch just before dawn. Mr.Moon is a reflection of that night.
