After watching videos and ready reviews on many products, I found the best way to deep clean nasty car seats at home. This method will actually remove the dirt and crime out of the seats and leave them smelling fresh. To get this done properly, you will need a wet vacuum, it doesn't have to be the one I used in the video; however, I really liked it for it's portability. You will first pre-treat the entire seat with Oxyclean and let it soak for 5-7 minutes. In the mean time, mix Folex carpet cleaner (5 parts) with water (1 part) and load it into your machine or a spray bottle. Then soak the seat with the solution to get it really wet. You will be getting these seats a lot wetter than you thought you would. Run the solution in by hand, then a brush. Now you vacuum the solution out which brings all of the nasty dirty out of the seats. The next part is what makes the biggest difference. Soak the seat with WARM water and vacuum that out. If it seat still looks dirty, do it again and again if needed. Now your seats are deep cleaned and cleaner than they have been in years! Let it dry in sun and don't close up the car until it's fully dried. Enjoy your beautifully cleaned car for less than it would have cost you to pay someone to do it.
