“Your body holds many secrets, but do you know how to listen?” This was the first line in my next guest’s latest Instagram post.

Chelsey Kap (@rolfing.yoga.bychelsey) is a rolfer, yoga instructor and alignment expert. She helps people uncover those secrets in order to get to the root and find a long lasting solution, which includes releasing stress related tension, anxiety and improving posture. Sign me up!

She provides an overview of rolfing, why it matters and how it helps. “Your global body alignment is more than what you ‘inherited.’ Nothing in life is so fixed. You are an ever-changing organism re-creating yourself in every moment, with every movement, thought and breath.” Chelsey has a unique method and I’m here for it. She blends TCM, rolfing and yoga in order for things in your body to feel better. Her cerebral, grounding and somatic approach “is to provide crystal-clear instruction with a dash of light-heartedness to elucidate otherwise confusing concepts, anchoring them into your physical experience." Which will be apparent when she takes us through a quick, but thoughtful seated series to open up the shoulders and back as well as a simple to do breathwork session to balance and calm the mind. The result was delicious and like finding gold at the end of a rainbow.

Chelsey is leading a 4 week series of online classes using her tried and true method starting on Monday. They are recorded, so you don’t have to worry about missing a class and she’s offering a sliding scale, $60-$100 for the entire 4 weeks.
