What is Tonala Pottery? 🏺Let's learn about Mexican pottery! Talavera, Tlaquepaque, Oaxana & more! 🇲🇽

Tonalá is a city within the Guadalajara Metropolitan Area in the state of Jalisco in Mexico made famous, in part, by the beautiful pottery that is made there. I have a growing collection of Tonala pottery and I thought I would take a break from thrifting to see exactly what I have. I find things at estate sales and auctions, charity shops, and thrift stores, and even pluck treasures from Goodwill bins and street curbs as they are headed towards the landfill.
