Here's the infamously hard/iconic battle introduction music for Cynthia, the Sinnoh Champion. This track is very tricky, especially if you don't have wide hands. Players be warned!

=====(The Details/Performer's Notes)=====
This is by far the most difficult cover for me personally in 2020 thus far. I completely underestimated this piece and it took a lot more practice to get up to performance level (admittedly with a few mistakes) than I original thought. Those left hand arpeggios do not fit well in my hand, forcing me to use weird fingerings/finger crossings to navigate the passagework. If you've got big enough (wide enough) hands to fit the left hand arpeggios, then it's considerably easier (still tricky though).

The arrangement itself stays very true to the original track. I composed a new middle section to add some variety and extend the theme (Gold notes = original, Blue notes = added sections). Bonus points to whoever can guess which classical piece I quote for the transition into the B section.

The B section itself just develops 2 of the ideas presented in the original theme. I add thirds to the melody at the end to heighten the drama/tension before returning to the track proper. All in all this makes for one of the trickier covers on the channel.

I'm relieved I was able to get a recording, as I've been dreading this track for the past couple months. Could it be a bit cleaner and more controlled? Yes, but it is definitely time to move onto the next video.
