BASHA UHURU 2024 Short Recap

Johannesburg’s most anticipated creative festival, Constitution Hill’s Basha Uhuru Freedom Festival, offered a jam-packed line-up of creative immersions and experiences for its 2024 edition from the 27th to the 29th of June 2024.

This is a mini recap of what took place at this Youth Festival during Youth Month in South Africa. This year the event paid homage to 30 years of democracy and heritage with the theme “Celebrating 30 Years of Creative Freedom” The festival highlighted the role of young people and their participation in creative and social movements.
