Chasing The Pere Marquette 1225 Cadillac Limited! - From Owosso, MI. To Cadillac, MI. - 10/26/2024

Over this weekend, Ryan was coming up north towards my hometown to railfan around some lines for the weekend (whether if it was the CN Flint sub, or class IIs like LSRC and GLC), and during this weekend, Pere Marquette 1225 was gonna be up and running at the Stem Railroading Institute and was also gonna run its Cadillac Limited Excursion From Owosso to Mt. Pleasant, then from Mt. Pleasant to Cadillac on the following scheduled days. So then we decided to take a day and chase it on the morning it leaves Owosso, then to Mt. Pleasant, then all the way up to Cadillac, which brought us a total of 130 miles of Chasing distance, which made this chase the longest and furthest, yet most successful in-State train chase that me and Ryan has ever done. But all-n-all, this chase was a ton of fun, especially this gave the both of us a good chance to explore the GLC Cadillac division as a whole all the way up north to where the line eventually changes to a different name, and we also managed to discover a lot of cool spots and railroad crossings along the way too, and I would love to eventually do a chase like this on the Ann Arbor district, which is the GLC line closest to me that obviously heads south from Durand to Ann Arbor, in which 1225 may run on again whenever its feasible. But I guess with that said, I hope y'all enjoy this one
