I don't like driving at night anymore, and I particularly don't like driving on country roads at night, and more particularly I dislike driving on dirt roads, so how did it happen that I went out to collect a joey along a dirt road in the country at night, forgoing my evening glass of champagne until we returned??

Catherine and I went to collect a little Red Necked Wallaby joey who had been found on the side of a road. The oor little guy was very unhappy and shocked at the change of his circumstances, losing his mum and ending up with the giant humans with weird milk and ways of feeding.

Tolga Bat Hospital takes donations for me for Catherine at Second Chances Wildlife Sanctuary.
Tolga is an awesome place in Far North Queensland, which has charity status. By sending donations to them, they get a percentage (and deserve every cent) and they can allocate money to me for batty and roo expenses without it becoming part of my income stream (which makes tax time difficult).
