Here is a video compilation of Herbert Glacier while taking a helicopter tour which included a short hike on the glacier.

The blue colors of the ice was spectacular and it is hard to really see how tall the pieces of ice really are. I was a bit hesitant to get too close to the crevasses. I'm not afraid of heights, just falling.

I took this tour after disembarking in Juneau, Alaska from the UnCruise Adventures Wilderness Explorer. There is no better way to see a glacier than from the sky. It is really hard to explain how beautiful it really is.
