As I'm working on the engine replacement in my BMW 335i, I have been finding myself doing jobs like in this video where I'm removing the engine starter motor on the BMW n55 engine in my BMW 335i. This of course is very similar on many other BMWs like the 135i and even some 2 series BMWs. The job itself isn't hard, but you will learn how to remove the intake manifold as well as the ignition coil cover, engine air filter housing, cabin filter housing and the trailing link before you can access the starter you are replacing.
