Getting Started with NetLogo

Описание к видео Getting Started with NetLogo

NetLogo is an unusual system, both a system of hundreds of shared models and a system to create and share your own simulations. Used by hundreds of thousands of K-12 students and teachers as well as university students, this video first presents NetLogo's amazing pedigree stretching back to Seymour Papert and his mentor, Jean Piaget's study of how children really learn. The NetLogo website is shown with instructions on both download and web use. Finally, three common simulations are introduced to show how to find a model in the models and community libraries, then how to begin running a model. It ends with a view of NetLogo code as an appropriate venture for middle school and older students.
