The 'chaotic' aftermath of Jo Cox's murder was today played out in court as jurors listened to a 999 call from a panicked plumber who witnessed the MP (inset) being shot and stabbed to death (top left). It was made moments after a far Right-obsessed loner stood over the bloodied Labour politician and calmly reloaded his sawn off rifle after twice shooting her in the head – before 'blasting her' for a third time and walking off 'without a care in the world', a court heard. Unemployed gardener Thomas Mair, 53, also stabbed the Labour politician 15 times, according to one eyewitness, and said 'this is for Britain' as he murdered her in cold blood, jurors were told. In a frantic 999 call played at the Old Bailey, plumber Darren Playford could be heard saying: 'It's chaos. He's stabbed people and shot people.' CCTV also allegedly shows Mair after the murder of Jo Cox, having changed his clothes (main).
