Here's a drivers eye view from a 3000/3100 class railcar. The train is leaving Platform 4 at Adelaide Station and proceeds via signal 104 and 88 points into the Adelaide Railcar Depot. It passes a 2000/2100 class "Jumbo" railcar also waiting to enter the depot.

The Adelaide Railcar Depot closed on February 5th 2011 and has now been demolished to make way for the new Royal Adelaide Hospital.

Maintenance and storage of the suburban railcar fleet is now located ay Dry Creek on the Gawler Central line
