During these quarantine days there are no live shows and we all really miss performing and jamming together, so making this video remotely was the closest thing for us to an actual live show!
@yohaiportal produced this cover as close as he could to the original, with a slight touch of how he imagined it would sound if it was released today.
I tried to pay homage to Layne Staley’s tones and understated vibe while still being myself.
I took my first singing lessons as a child growing up in and off the coast of Seattle and to this day I believe Layne is the most haunting, unique voice in music.
I’m very pleased with the way it turned out and want to thank everyone involved.
