Vincent grew up in North Riding, Johannesburg, raised by his mother and father. He was adopted by Sharon whilst his mother was working at a local clinic. When he was 9, Sharon sent him to Summit College where he started doing sports such as show jumping and cricket. He obtained colours for three spots and was also selected to represent for South Africa in an international competition for 2 years.

He wants to learn about the origins and importance of the BaSotho cultural horse sport. The quest will be done in Bloemfontein.
