This is the first time I have made a video like this so please be very kind with the criticism. I know I forgot a video/picture of the food when it was done and next time I hope to not forget. I also had issues with my hair covering the mic so it might sound a little weird. I hope everyone is prepared for the new "lockdown" that will be happening soon and I hope you can cook your way to happiness...and thick thighs :)

I thought I would start off with a very simple recipe going over something very common all over the world which is a casserole. I wanted to talk about the USA and German aspect of a casserole because it was quite interesting coming to Germany and learning that casseroles were common amongst people. Some people enjoyed noodle casseroles, some enjoyed meaty potato casseroles, and some people even used couscous.

Casseroles for me were seen as "poor" food or very childish food so it was interesting coming to Germany and seeing/tasting all these rich/delicious casseroles that weren't just made as a cheap lack luster alternative. I think this meal in Germany is common because you can virtually make it with whatever you want, it's easy to make, and it makes space in the refrigerator.
