While in Okinawa I decided to tour the Japanese Navy Bunker. We had to climb way up the hill to then decend down a stairway into the bunker. I cant imagine being in these tunnels cramped with thousand of other solders. War is pure hell and this place was a living hell for those who retreated into it during the war.
