032 Luthier thumb plane

Todays project is tiny luthier thumb plane. I was inspired to build that little tool by one of the best planemakers ever - Olivier Sparks (instagram link below).
At the end of the video i made some test on piece of maple.

Materials:
Brass pipe
Steel 3mm thick
Piece of hard wood (who know what it is? Probably african blackwood.. )
Lamintated plane blade
Boiled linseed oil

Dzisiejszy projekt to mały strug lutniczy. Do zbudowania tego małego narzędzia zainspirował mnie jeden z najlepszych "strugorobów" w historii - Olivier Sparks (link do profilu na instagramie powyżej).
Pod koniec filmu zrobiłem test na kawałku klonu.
