Learning how to reply Craigslist is very simple and this tutorial will show you how to get in touch with a seller. 

Step # 1 -- Locating the Item

Go to your local Craigslist. For this example we are going to be using the London one, but the process will be the same wherever you are based. Click on the category and find the item that you are interested in.
 
Step # 2 -- The Reply Options

At the top of the items dedicated page you will see a "Reply" button, click on this. A menu will appear and you will see several mail options, here we are going to reply using Gmail, but you can choose whichever service you prefer.
 
Step # 3 -- Sending the Reply Through Gmail

A new tab will open and, assuming you are logged into Gmail, you will be able to compose a message to the seller. The subject field will already be filled out with the item details and a link to the item will appear in the body of the message. You will notice that the email address is not personal -- this is to protect the seller's privacy. Enter your message and click send. The message will be sent and the tab will close and that is how to reply craigslist.
