Amazing drone video – Hinowa Lightlift 40.18 spider lift shows impressive outreach

The largest Hinowa spider lift yet manufactured demonstrates its impressive reach as it’s used to fix a cupola on the roof of a care home.

APS supplied the Hinowa Lightlift 40.18 Performance IIIS tracked spider lift to Fletcher Access, which deployed the platform to repair the roof at the care home in Gloucester.

The spider lift’s 17.5m reach was ideal to boom to the centre of the roof, allowing Fletcher Access operatives to fix the cupola in place after it had been lifted in by a mobile crane.

The Hinowa Lightlift 40.18 has a maximum working height of 40.2, a maximum basket capacity of 300kg and an unrestricted basket capacity of 230kg.

The tracked MEWP can be set up with a narrow stabilisation area and still have a maximum working height of 35m and an outreach of 11m. When stowed for tracking, it is just 1200mm wide.
