Loved the concept of the “Holy Grail” but could never bring myself to purchase one at full price. Managed to find this on xianyu at a bargain because of some internal staining in the PC - I am not sure if this is CNC or casted, and if it is polycarbonate or acrylic, but hey it works. I have been wanting to try out KLC/Densus topre components for a while since they were released. This is the most basic configuration and one of my projects is slowly changing the mods on this to make it sound different. From online reviews, it seems that the KLC/Densus sliders are known for being higher pitched. While it is something that I usually enjoy on my boards, for some reason I like topre to be as low pitched as possible. I used 21kb keycaps here as I thought the thinker PBT would lower the pitch, but its still quite loud. I think lube will probably fix some of this, and I will also experiment with silencing rings. 30g domes are way too light, but surprisingly they dont feel too far off from my 45g R2. I think I would get 55g domes from KLC if I had the chance to order again.
