Stage two of the production process at CMS Trade is the welding together of the various PVCu profile sections and cleaning to ensure any debris is removed to deliver an excellent finish and maximum visual appeal.

Our welding machinery is amongst the best available in the UK, using automation and state-of-the-art technology to create structurally robust frames to a consistently high standard. But is not just about achieving a strong weld - we have the technology that allows us to make our corner welds virtually invisible.

Coloured frames benefit from a corner weld width of just 0.2mm - a fine line that is virtually invisible from a distance. Why do we do this? Quite simply, coloured PVCu window and door frames show up corner welds much more than white, and can have a really negative impact on the aesthetics of the finished products.
