In this video, I tackle one of the most frustrating problems for TVR Speed 6 engine owners—the battery location! If you own a TVR Tamora, Tuscan, T350, Sagaris, or Cerbera, you'll know how difficult it is to access the battery, especially when it goes flat. I’ve fitted a remote 12V charging cable to my TVR Tamora (with the Speed 6 engine), and now charging the battery is quick and painless without needing to remove panels or struggle with hard-to-reach spots.

I used the Topdon 4000 battery charger for this job, but the setup is compatible with CTek chargers or similar models. This simple mod ensures you're never caught off guard by a flat battery again. Whether you're looking to keep your TVR ready for a drive or avoid being stranded, this is a game-changer.

Watch as I walk you through the steps to fit the cable, making it easier to charge your battery and keep your Speed 6-powered TVR running smoothly!

The "Rat" is my 2004 TVR Tamora Mk2. It is fitted with the TVR built Speed 6 inline six engine displacing 3.6 litres with 341 BHP. The Tamora weighs only 1060kg so the power to weight ratio is over 320BHP per ton, resulting in a 0-60 time of 4.2 seconds, with a top speed in excess of 170mph and will do the 1/4 mile run in 12.5 seconds
