The Paleo Ark Saber, or Smilodon as it is called, is far closer in appearance to the real-life Smilodon than the base game version. I think they're both the same stat-wise, though Kraken's Better Dinos gives the base saber some different abilities that I'll have to investigate. The original's appearance is a nod to the fact that it is mistakenly called a: Sabertooth Tiger, when the sabertoothed cats were their own group of felines. With this, we have a smaller, more agile cave mammal for those tight spaces in some of the caves. I have to say, I love the patterns on them as well.

Oh, we also nearly get mauled by the Casteroides Beavers in a pond because they took exception to the fact that I went into their dam and stole all of their cementing paste. Look guys, if I didn't lose my frogs this wouldn't be happening, so blame the game lol.
