DIY | Ice Cream Bath Bombs

SUPPLIES
• bath bomb mold

• ¼ cup corn starch
• ¼ cup citric acid

• ½ cup baking soda
• ¼ cup Epsom salt

• ½ - 1 tsp carrier oil (coconut, castor, and almond oil are the best)
• ½ tsp essential oil

• ½ tsp vitamin E oil (optional)

• ½ tsp water
• food coloring (optional)
• jelly beads (optional)

• ice cream cone

STEPS
1. Mix dry ingredients together. Continue mixing until all ingredients are well incorporated and there are no lumps.
2. Now mix wet ingredients, then combine ingredients and continue mixing until it looks like fresh powdered snow.
3. Separate into three batches and add color for different “flavors.”
4. Fill molds and be sure to pack it in very tightly. Set it aside for a few hours to dry.
5. Remove lid and add jelly beads which look like sprinkles. Place lid back on top, and turn it upside down and place on ice cream cone.

Tips
*Add wet ingredients very slowly (while whisking quickly) so that they don’t react with the dry ingredients
*If you don’t use the vitamin E oil then you should add another 1/2 tsp of essential oil
*You can use a plastic easter egg or christmas ornament if you don’t have a metal mold
*Add a few more drops of your carrier oil if your mixture isn’t sticking together when you squeeze it in your hand. Depending on your exact oils and the humidity where you live the measurements can vary slightly
*This recipe makes 2-3 bath bombs
