Dan Barker ""

We welcome back Dan Barker, Co-president of the Freedom From Religion Foundation, co-host of Freethought Radio and Freethought Matters, and co-founder of The Clergy Project.

Dan is a former preacher and Christian music accompanist, arranger, and record producer. After declaring his atheism, he authored two books, Losing Faith in Faith in 1992 and Godless in 2008. He regularly travels the country and the world giving lectures, performing concerts, and participating in debates with theists, many at college and university campuses.

In his talk, he will share the history and the work of the Freedom From Religion Foundation, and discuss its current challenges, particularly in light of the new conservative courts.
