In the heart of Alderney City, a sprawling construction site looms, its skeletal structures reaching skyward northeast of the Alderney Safehouse. Here, three targets lie in wait, each occupying a different level of this urban labyrinth. The final target, a formidable figure armed with a Combat Shotgun, commands the view from the top floor, surrounded by an array of guards positioned strategically throughout the site. These sentinels, clutching either Combat Pistols or SMGs, ensure no corner is left unmonitored. Among them, one carries an unused Grenade, a silent promise of chaos that he will never unleash. For Niko Bellic, the path to this deadly assignment begins at a payphone nestled at the intersection of Odhner Avenue and Traeger Road on the western edge of Port Tudor. It is here that fate intertwines, as a cutscene unfolds, revealing The Fixer briefing Niko on the mission ahead. Following his initial encounter with Phil Bell, Niko finds himself receiving a call that draws him deeper into the underworld. Phil speaks of a man known only as "The Fixer," who harbors intentions for Niko—assignments that require a meticulous hand and a lethal touch. To commence these precarious missions, Niko must seek out a payphone marked with a crosshair icon, its presence guiding him to The Fixer’s dark requests. With each new mission, crucial details emerge: the whereabouts of the target, alongside vital provisions of body armor and a weapon tailored for the grim task awaiting him—all conveniently stashed behind the payphone. In this dangerous game of cat and mouse, survival hinges on strategy, precision, and the careful whispers of fate that guide Niko along his path.
