On this episode we will be talking about the green timber?
The recently stood up frame and seen a green frame and you see a normal trade palm frame and you want to know what the difference is? Well, let me tell you this green timber is treated pine timber. This is used as an extra termite barrier to protect your house against termites and this is actually sprayed on the timber as you can see now that is the end of the grain of the timber. So this is not actually right throughout the timber it is just sprayed on the timber. When you have like chippies, and plumbers cut in through the timber this protection does not go straight to your home.
Now this can run an extra cost about 5% or 7% on your actual frame. I recommend not to use this on its own, you would probably use it with other termite protections. Now, there are whole heap of other termite protections but that is not what this video is about we would cover that in later video.
