Easy To Make Butter Cookies by Mai Goodness | For Home Baking Business w/ Costing

Butter cookies that you can bake at the convenience of your home. Good for breakfast, snacks or a gift that you can give your love ones. A child's fave snack around the house. A baked goodies that you may want to try and turn into a home business.

Butter Cookies

Ingredients :
• 1 block of salted butter (225g) - P43.00
• 3/4 cup Icing Sugar or Confectioner's sugar - P20.00
• 1 large egg - P7.50
• 3 tsp vanilla extract - P3.00
• 2 cups of all purpose flour - P12.00
• 1/2 tsp salt (if butter used is unsalted)
• choco chips (optional) P10.00

Baking Pan:
2 baking sheet 12x16 inches


*Use parchment paper on the baking sheet.
*Pre-heat oven for 15 minutes at 180⁰C
*Turn around halfway through the baking at 10 minutes.
*Bake for 15 minutes or until brown on the edges.
*Transfer to a cooling rack immediately.
*Store in a sealed container.

Yields around 50pcs of cookies

Costing:
Cost of ingredients = P95.50
Overhead cost (40% of ingredients cost for elect, fare, gas, water etc) = P38.20
Total Cost: P133.70

Net Cost per piece = P133.70 ÷ 50 pcs = P2.67
P2.67 x 1.7(tubo) = P4.54
Selling price per piece: P5.00
