This God of War Ragnarok game guide video shows how to complete the battle involving closing the Hel-Tear in The Gleaming Bale region in Helheim. Winning this battle is mandatory in order to advance in the Reunion main quest.
Start the battle by ordering Atreus to close the tear. A timer will appear on the screen and you have to keep fighting until enough time has passed. This will be a difficult battle so make sure to avoid receiving too much damage early in the fight. Stay on the move and dodge instead of risking with parries. Use 2xL1 against enemies with shields and blue ring attacks. Rely on other special attacks and R3 executions as well.
