Mahantesh Sabarad, SBI cap securities speaks to ET Now about how moratorium is back behind every investor's mind. The banking sector will not be affected by the outcome of what really happens once the moratorium is lifted. He says that the banking sector has raised a lot of capital and a huge amount of capital raising activity has been seen at the likes of ICICI bank to HDFC bank.

He then explains that when we see the credit growth and the deposit growth, the deposit growth has been quite strong. From a franchise perspective, the banking franchise is doing well. While the fall today seems to be of a temporary nature, he believes that soon the banks will be able to do better when it comes to their financial performance.
