Tea cosy tutorial.

There’s nothing like a warm cup of tea and, the best way to do so, is to have a handy tea cosy, and if it is handmade, the better!
In these days, when there is much more time, and with those scraps that don’t even get to remnants, I had my mind set to make three different tea cosies to give you some ideas about what to do with them.
There are tea cosies for all, from the most simple ones with a plain fabric, to the most modern ones, that take the shape of lovely pets or objects around the house. So with patchwork being my aim, I designed a cupcake with frosting, a tea bag and an Easter egg; trying to make them as stylish as possible and taking into account all the little details.
It’s an ideal project as pass time, as a necessity, to share it and spend time with a family member, or simply to enjoy the hustles of sewing, from creating something new from scraps.
