Police says they have arrested the actual assailant who attempted to assassinate Gen. Edward Katumba Wamala but unfortunately the targets were were off-targets but accurate for his daughter Brenda Nantongo who lost her life in the mix.

According to the deputy inspector general of police Paul Lokech the CCTV camera footage aided the arrests.

One of the suspects was also killed when he fought back at police during the arrest.
