UCI World Gravel Series - UCI Gravel Suisse 2024 - Uncut

Hey everyone! 🌟 On Saturday, July 6, 2024, I participated in the UCI Gravel Suisse race. After a tough climbing event in Singen, Germany the week before, and knowing Switzerland had an extra 700 meters of elevation gain, I decided to ride my mountain bike for this race. However, it turned out to be the wrong choice.

There were some extremely steep climbs, single tracks, and technical descents where my mountain bike was advantageous. But on other sections, I was at a disadvantage. Combined with having an off day, I ended up riding far in the back of the pack.

Despite the challenges, I still enjoyed the beautiful scenery. Unfortunately, in the last two hours, we got caught in a heavy downpour. To give myself a break, I'll be skipping the race in the Netherlands. My next race will be in Poland.
