How to Volunteer while travelling in Hindi [Backpacker Ankit]

In this video, I had shared How I volunteered while traveling to Nepal. As a new solo Indian Traveler, I experienced volunteering for the first time.

What is Volunteering?
It's a process to take part in a local work while traveling or anywhere on your own.

Why should you Volunteer?
Well, it gives an opportunity to work with the local people and learn new things about their culture. Along with that, you will be meeting a lot of new other travelers as well.

How to Volunteer?
You can take part in work while traveling with the help of some websites, where you have to register first. And these websites are paid actually on a subscription basis.

Generally, it is around $40 for a year. And Few of These Websites are

What will I get back for Volunteering?
It depends on the host to host and location as well. In my case, I got 3-time meal which was the same (Dall Bhaat), space, internet and a lot of things in a cheap price of $5.

However, there are some places where you will have to volunteer for free. They will charge no money at all.

Other than that you will get new friends. Will see new culture, learn a lot of new things which you would never had imagined. And will enjoy the fun time there.

Should I volunteer?
It depends on you as it will give you amazing opportunities. But if you are a comfort seeker then it might not be for you. As while volunteering everyone had to work and live as a team :)

Is it safe?
A lot of times it is safe. They only need people who will help in their mission. However, I met a lady while traveling who told me that she left the place after her host gave here too many tasks, bad living conditions so you can left anytime..

And it is always wise to select an opportunity after reviews..

Overall my experience was quite fantastic and I enjoyed my time as volunteering.
