What more can I say with the news that broke this week on the upcoming retirement of Paul Menard, except I will miss him. Menard is one of my personal favorites, and I am sad to see him go. So, I want to reflect on his career. He truly is better than you think he is.

Menard is the son of billionaire, John Menard, and he is from the state of Wisconsin. While some may only remember his 2011 victory in the Brickyard 400, he has done far more things for the sport than just win one race.

From his own racing accomplishments, to bringing his family's brand to partner with other drivers, to now providing a path for a deserving driver like Matt Diebenedetto, Paul Menard has had a strong impact in the sport of NASCAR.
