Kennedy Space Center | NASA | We Hire A Car | Olive Garden | Holiday Vlog | Disney's Saratoga Spring

Hi, we are Max and Alex. Thanks for taking a look! This Walt Disney World vlog series was filmed in May 2024, in this episode we venture outside of Disney property and head to the Kennedy Space Center!

We start our day at Disney's Saratoga Springs resort, we have hired a car through the Car Care Center which is located near to the Magic Kingdom, they provide a shuttle service where they will pick you up between the hours of 7am - 7pm to take you to collect your car from the hire company.

Car hire sorted and we start our road trip to the Kennedy Space Center, after around an hour of driving we arrive at the visitor complex, the entrance area is so impressive with a giant 3D screen, once inside we were blown away by all the rockets, we decided to head towards to back of the complex and work forwards, first stop was the Space Shuttle Atlantis building which was so impressive, the way they have designed the opening in to the building and the reveal of the space shuttle is so emotional and brilliant.

We try lunch at a new restaurant where you can design your own rice or noodle bowl, the food there was really good!

Next up we take the bus tour over to the Apollo building, on the way there you get taken past the vehicle assembly building where they prepare the space shuttles ready for launch before they are moved to the launch pad, the size and scale of this building is truly impressive.

We arrive at the Apollo building where you are taken in to the control room and shown the build up and sequence in the lead up to the apollo launch, the consoles that are shown are the actual ones used in the apollo missions.

You get to walk under the Apollo space craft and touch moon rock!

We then head to the shop where I buy a really nice sweater.

Our trip there is then over! You really need a couple of days to explore and be able to read everything at the visitor center, there is so much and if we go again would love to do one of the extra tours you can pay for.

Finally our tip to Olive Garden! I know it is a massive chain however we have never been before!
