Loewe-Opta Rheinperle 5717W restoration - Part 1. A first look at this new project.

This is another typical German set, dated from 1960/61, with all the usual characteristics: MW, LW, SW, FM and Phono selectors. The controls include Bass and Treble adjustments, Volume and Tuning. On the upper level of the piano keys there are further tonal presets, namely a Hi-Fi, Bass and Speech selector. A magic eye indicates tuning and signal strength.

The condition is very good, with no major signs of damage. It does, however, seem to have been repaired previously, with some changed components, and other hints of 'violation'.
