SMART MOTORWAYS WILL BE HITTING THE FRONT PAGE NEWS YET AGAIN!!!

Some of you may remember back in August 2024 when my YouTube videos made the big news screens and got all the media and other YouTubers talking about National Highways NEW dangerous work instructions.

THE TELEGRAPH - Perilous’ smart motorways policy ‘putting lives at risk’

There was many more that took huge interest in these horrific policy changes.

BUT here we are again only 5 months later and NATIONAL HIGHWAYS have gone back on their own words! Still REFUSING to SET a TEMPORARY RED X signal!

Take care when you rejoin the motorway
Do not exit an emergency area without speaking to National Highways first. We can set signs and warn approaching traffic that you're about to exit an emergency area. We can even close the lane to help you rejoin the motorway if required.

Get back on the road safely from the hard shoulder. Build up speed, use your indicators and watch for a gap in the traffic to rejoin the carriageway safely. Be aware that other vehicles may be stationary on the hard shoulder ahead of you.

BUT in REALITY my roadside working videos shows the TRUTH when TRYING to work with NATIONAL HIGHWAYS and clearly shows there dangerous working instructions which will result in another DEATH on a smart motorway.

National Highways state it is safe to go and rejoin a live lane of running traffic even with other vehicles still in that lane, breeching the lane divert instruction on the overhead matrix.

This KPI needs to STOP NOW before somebody else dies on a SMART MOTORWAY!!

Please share this video far and wide to the news and press and the government, this is again another real video showing the dangerous side of national highways that the tv programs dont show.

TRAINING is required immediately at National Highways so ALL STAFF know they can set a red x to help members of the public and roadside workers when leaving an EMERGENCY REFUGE AREA, the website states they can do it, there working instruction shows they can do it.

BUT they refuse to do it? Why are they holding back on setting a RED X when it helps and gives us the best chances of re joining a smart motorway safely.
