Blur (PS3) | Random Races #1

I have a question for you, what happens when you combine Project Gotham Racing with an arcade kart racer like Mario Kart or NASCAR Rumble? You get this this fun arcade racer named Blur. Blur was developed by Bizarre Creations and published by Activision in 2010 for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.

Blur has a dark and moody vibe with a colorful style when it comes to the power-ups and vehicles. Speaking of which, Blur features 55 licensed vehicles to race on lap-by-lap tracks around the world and use these wild power-ups like Barge, Mine, Shock, Bolt, and Shunt to wreck other opponents in order to win races. But if you're in a situation where your car's health is low, I would suggest try to pick up the Repair, Shield, or even a fast as hell Nitro power-up to help you get to the front and win. Also in every race you earn "Fans", which is supposed help player progress through the career. You earn these "fan points" driving through icons on track and they will trigger short challenges (e.g. shooting another car with a certain weapon, performing a long drift, or drive through gates), which will reward the player with a fan points boost. Finishing well in challenges, races, and 1-on-1 events as well as using the power-ups on the AI cars earns 'fan points'.

Now what's interesting about Blur is that there is NO single race mode or option. The game's Career mode is the only single player mode in Blur. So all the races in this first video of Random Races in Blur on the PS3 were recorded in the game's Career mode.
