Standen 1986 | 40 Years Sugar Beet Harvester Manufacturing Market Leaders

In 1986, Standen Engineering celebrated 40 years of manufacturing sugar beet harvesters.

This film features the Standen machines in production at that time. The Standen Rapide Tanker Mk3 1-row harvester, Tornado 2-row, Skewbar topping, Turbobeet Mk3, 3-row, Turbo 4, 4-row, Sceptre 3-row and Super-Six 6-row, as well as the Standen Multivator inter-row cultivator and the company's Rowcrop Wheels, all of which were manufactured at Hereward Works, Station Road, Ely.

Also mentioned in the video, is Standen's new potato machinery range launched in 1985. Standen-Eho planters, Standen-Wuhlmaus Sabre TF 1-row, Scimitar TF 1-row and Statesman 2-row potato harvesters.
