Old French Song, Tchaikovsky (Early-Intermediate Solo) Essential Piano Repertoire Level 3

TEACHER DEMO. This song is on p. 38 of Essential Piano Repertoire Level 3. It was composed by the very famous Russian composer Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky (1840-1893) during the Romantic Period and is included in his "Album for the Young", Opus 39. This song provides the left hand with a good opportunity to work on holding down that g in the bass with the 5th finger while playing notes with the other fingers.
