Her research focuses on developing mathematical models and computer algorithms to better understand human health and disease. Rognes won the prestigious 2015 Wilkinson Prize for Numerical Software, and was awarded a 2016 European Research Council Starting Grant and a 2015 Young Research Talents Grant.
