It’s finally here! I was talking about this piece months ago and it’s finally here. What started as the discovery of a random brief in a 1911 newspaper with little information has blossomed into this hour long film, which will likely be my final immersion into the mystery of the Rose City Park murder case of 1911.
In this case, near the end of March 1911 a young woman, approximately 16-17 years of age was found dead in some brush, her cause of death appearing to be blunt force trauma to the head resulting in a fractured skull. She was well dressed suggesting she came from an affluent family. The police had an absolute mystery on their hands… until about a day and a half later.
At this time this murder victim suddenly became a 12-year old girl killed a mile from where she was originally reported. Her death changed to a suicide which was easy to tell because she had the gun in her hand. Two completely different situations that law enforcement reported were the same event.
I have covered this story in the past in a shorter video and a recording on my Patreon, but here I do the deepest dive I felt possible with the limited information available on the case. I also suggest a theory as to why a murder in this instance may have been covered up.
