We came across this reef during an exploration dive - which is one of our favourite things to do. Whilst so many of the known dive sites in Raja Ampat are truly amazing, the area is huge and much of it unexplored, meaning that without question, other other amazing reefs yet to be discovered! Whilst we hope that this most spectacular place can hold onto many of its secrets... we are truly thrilled and humbled when we can discover gems like this!

(*yes.. we quoted Oberyn Martell from Game of Thrones - but we thought it fitting for this post, considering that pre-Covid, of the 70 dive sites monitored in our Orang Laut Raja Ampat monitoring program, 9 dive sites represent 50% of the tourism pressure!)
