With 51 days until the reopening of the outback striper season in New Jersey - yeah, some of us really are counting the days - the best bet for the weekend ahead is tautog on the wrecks, reefs and snags. Plenty of for-hire options in the New Jersey, Delaware Bay region running blackfish trips. Offshore the head boats are also finding cod, pollock and the occasional jumbo weakfish too. For our team at The Fisherman (6:20) it's 'all hands on deck' this weekend for the Wildwood Fishing and Boating Expo at the oceanfront convention center in Wildwood.
