Here I wanted to try out two different bowguns to sticky cheese Kulve Taroth. The thunder hitzone values of her gold coat seem to have been nerfed for Master Rank, so it's not surprising that many of the first bowgun speedruns have opted for sticky ammo - consistent damage without the need for careful positioning or aiming, perfect for lazy chill hunting.

Advantages of the HBG are obviously the high fire rate for sticky, more explosive ammo options (Cluster, Wyvern, Wyvernsnipe) and the option of a shield. Just don't expect to tank the lava vomit. Seriously, don't.

That's why I prefer the LBG for the more erratic last stage. Mobility and fast sheathing times are key for a largely stress-free last phase. Still trying to figure out how to properly dodge her two new moves (the belly flop and the melting ceiling).

You have about 7 minutes to finish each of the three stages, which is no problem with sticky guns. This casual solo hunt took 13'26" in total.
