Related Voices: Hamada, Three Generations

New works by Shinsaku Hamada (1929- ) and Tomoo Hamada (1967- ) and new acquisitions by Shoji Hamada (1894-1978) make up this exhibition. Welsh potter Phil Rogers (1951-2020) writes about this family, their work, their tradition and history, in the catalogue that accompanies the exhibition (available through the Gallery) and the commentary for the tour is excerpted from Rogers' essay.
